Simulation
Petal Press Cafe
★★★★☆ 4.0
Petal Press Cafe is comfort food in game form. You run a little cafe attached to a flower shop, learning regular customers' orders and slowly upgrading your counter. There's nothing hostile here, just a gentle rhythm of serving and tidying.
What lifts it above the usual cozy sim is the character writing. Regulars have small running stories that unfold as you remember their orders, and I found myself genuinely curious how one of them's week would go. The timing mini-games keep your hands busy without stressing you out.
It can get repetitive if you binge it, which honestly most sims do. Played in short daily sessions it's a lovely little routine, and it never nagged me to hurry up.
What we liked
- Warm, low-pressure gameplay
