Nitro Drift Alley
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro Drift Alley isn't about finishing first, it's about the longest drift chain. You hold a corner, feather the brake, and the score counter spins while neon walls blur past. It's pure arcade feel, and the sense of speed is excellent for a mobile game.
The tilt and tap controls are both offered, and I settled on tap steering which felt precise enough for the tighter tracks. Each new car changes the handling noticeably, so unlocking the next one actually matters. There's a daily ghost challenge that got me coming back more than I expected.
My only gripe is the track count feels a little thin at launch. But for short bursts of chasing a better combo, this scratches an itch that a lot of heavier racers miss.
What we liked
- Satisfying drift scoring loop
- Cars that genuinely handle differently
- Strong sense of speed on phones
